The Ninja is a micro-framed plate carrier designed for the smaller-framed warrior. The average height of males in Japan is just 172cm (5' 7") and as most plate carriers are made in the United States, where people in general and military operators in particular are significantly bigger, off-the-shelf plate carriers were less suited to this market. The Ninja stepped into this gap, being tighter fitting, especially around the shoulders and back.
